Project: COPD: Mapping The Patient & Doctor Journey
Year: 2019
Role: Senior Service Designer
Chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD) is a type of obstructive lung disease characterised by long-term breathing problems and poor airflow. The main symptoms include shortness of breath and cough with sputum production. COPD is a progressive disease, meaning it typically worsens over time.
Using the existing research conducted by GSK and working alongside Dr. Ankita Batla (Chief Medical Office Lead - WPP), map out the current patient and healthcare provider journey to COPD diagnosis.
A journey map, showing a patients interaction with their healthcare provider towards their COPD diagnosis.
The patient and healthcare providers journey was used to reinforce the three main insight uncovered throughout our research.
